Packaging industry in Europe and Eurasia in the center of Istanbul Eurasia Packaging Fair held in Turkey while visiting the nearly 60 thousand professionals, was signed new business partnerships in new markets. Zeki Saribekir, President of the Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD), expressed that the fair brought a new movement to the sector and they were especially pleased with the foreign interest.

This year, the packaging sector, which aims a market size of 23 billion dollars and an export of 5 billion dollars, met at the 25th Eurasia Packaging Fair held in TÜYAP between October 23-26.

At the Eurasia Packaging Istanbul Fair, which has grown 40 times since its first day and has become the biggest fair held every year in the Eurasia region; A total of 1,217 companies from 44 countries, 463 of which were foreign, participated. Fair; A total of 58.518 professionals from 115 countries, 8.101 from abroad and 50.417 from domestic, visited.

This year, the guest country is Tunisia; Germany, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Algeria, Morocco, Palestine, Georgia, Croatia, Iraq, England, Iran, Israel, Italy, Cameroon, Canada, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Libya, Lebanon, Macedonia, Egypt More than 1,000 special procurement committees were brought from 42 countries, including Moldova, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Oman, Jordan and Greece.

The 26th Eurasia Packaging Istanbul International Packaging Industry Fair will be held between 21-24 October 2020.
