Deeply cleans flakes by dissolving oil, adhesive and stubborn dirt with hot water and, where needed, chemical support. For PET and PE.

The hot washing unit washes the flakes with heated water (and, where needed, detergent/caustic) to dissolve surface oil, adhesive, label glue and organic dirt. It delivers high cleaning quality particularly in the recycling of PET bottles and contaminated PE/PP.
The system consists of washing chambers positioned inside a tank filled with caustic soda solution. Each washing chamber rotates around its own axis, enabling the material to fill and empty in a controlled manner; independently operating mixers support the homogeneous distribution of the solution and effective contact. Since the material is exposed to both mechanical and chemical action, label adhesives, organic dirt and surface residues are thoroughly broken down, raising the quality of the raw material before extrusion. High cleaning performance is achieved with plastics such as PET, HDPE, PVC and PP.
Thanks to digital conductivity measurement devices and temperature sensors, process parameters are kept under continuous control. Integrated automation optimizes temperature and chemical concentration levels, both increasing cleaning performance and balancing energy consumption. Operator intervention is minimized and process continuity is maintained. With its heavy-duty construction, the unit is designed for long-term, uninterrupted operation in plastic washing lines.
