Intensive washing (intensive washer) scrubs the flakes vigorously within a high-speed impeller and powerful water turbulence. It mechanically detaches dirt, label fragments and organic residues stuck to the surface. It is the stage that brings the cleaning quality of the hot washing line to its highest level.
Intensive washing is located in the cleaning section of the line together with the hot washing and friction stages, and comes into play for stubborn dirt such as adhesive, oil and label residue. At the outlet, the material is ready for the drying stage.
