What is pellet drying and what is it used for?

The pellets emerging from underwater cutting arrive carrying water on their surface. The pellet-drying unit (vertical centrifuge) spins the pellets inside a screened body with its high-speed rotor, mechanically removing the surface water. The dried pellets become suitable for storage and packaging without clumping.

Closed-circuit water management

The separated water is reused in the system through a water tank and pumps, which reduces water consumption and the wastewater load. Its vertical design provides a compact layout and works in an integrated manner with the underwater cutting unit.

Position in the line

Pellet drying is the final stage of the granulation line. At its outlet, the pellets are transferred to a storage bunker or to big-bag/packaging units.
