The 50.80 is the higher-capacity model of the compact (mid-range) class. It is suitable for reducing large-volume and thick-section material and is used on continuously operating recycling lines. The ground material can be conveyed pneumatically with an optional fan-cyclone.
With its noticeably higher power rating, the 50.80 is suitable for continuous operation on thicker and more resistant rigid plastics. On high-tonnage lines, it forms an efficient stage in a serial setup together with a shredder. For the entry level, see the 42.60; for the higher tier, the 65.100.
