The 1200 is a compact-class double-shaft shredder. With two counter-rotating shafts and very high torque, it tears down the bulkiest and toughest material (drums, bales, pallets, blocks). It usually runs without a screen and produces a coarse output; it is most often used for pre-shredding (the first stage).
As the entry model of the double-shaft series, the DS-1200 delivers high torque on tough, mixed materials with its two counter-rotating rotors. It runs jam-free during the pre-shredding of baled film and large, resistant parts. For higher capacity, the DS-1600 and DS-2000 can be reviewed.
