The 1100 is a single-shaft shredder in the mid-range class. It runs with a rotating rotor, a hydraulic pusher and a screen; it shreds the material by pressing it against the rotor and releases only the pieces that pass through the screen openings. The output is therefore controlled and homogeneous. With its low speed – high torque principle, it processes tough inputs without jamming.
The 1100 represents the transition to the mid class in the single-shaft series; it offers a wider feed and higher continuity. It is a balanced option for the pre-shredding of mixed packaging, film and rigid parts. The lower model 800 and the higher model 1500 can be compared.
