The 1500 is a heavy-duty class single-shaft shredder. It operates with a rotating rotor, a hydraulic pusher and a screen; it shreds material by pressing it against the rotor and only releases the pieces that pass through the screen holes. This way the output size is controlled and homogeneous. With its low-speed, high-torque principle, it processes demanding inputs without jamming.
The 1500 is a powerful model for high-tonnage single-shaft applications; with its wide feed opening, it pre-shreds large and tough parts. It targets stable performance on continuously running lines. For wider feeding, the 1600 and 2000 can be considered.
