The 1600 is a heavy-duty class single-shaft shredder. It operates with a rotating rotor, a hydraulic pusher and a screen; it shreds material by pressing it against the rotor and only releases the pieces that pass through the screen holes. This way the output size is controlled and homogeneous. With its low-speed, high-torque principle, it processes demanding inputs without jamming.
With its wide feed width and high power class, the 1600 focuses on pre-shredding large-volume waste on intensive lines. It runs efficiently with industrial waste and mixed rigid plastics. It can be compared with the lower model 1500 and the top model 2000.
