The 2000 is a highest-tonnage class single-shaft shredder. It operates with a rotating rotor, a hydraulic pusher and a screen; it shreds material by pressing it against the rotor and only releases the pieces that pass through the screen holes. This way the output size is controlled and homogeneous. With its low-speed, high-torque principle, it processes demanding inputs without jamming.
As the widest and most powerful model in the single-shaft series, the 2000 is positioned for the highest-volume single-shaft pre-shredding needs. It takes large bales and bulky parts in a single pass. For twin-shaft alternatives, the twin-shaft series can be reviewed.
