What is an in-line crusher?

In-line crushers are positioned right beside or behind production lines such as thermoform, extrusion, injection and blow-molding, and they return the scrap generated (skeletons, edge trim, clippings, defective parts) to the production cycle without delay. They take up little space and save time and labour.

Two sub-groups

Thermoform In-line (sheet crusher): crushes thermoform/extrusion sheet and scrap directly — 38.100 and 38.125.
Edge-Trim Crushing: recovers the edge/skeleton scrap strips generated alongside the line — 27.30, 28.80, 32.40, 38.60.
