Single-Shaft Shredders

Pre-shredding machines that run with a rotating rotor, a hydraulic pusher and a screen, delivering homogeneous and controlled output sized by the screen. Six models: 800, 1100, 1300, 1500, 1600, 2000.

Single-Shaft Shredders

What is a single-shaft shredder?

A single-shaft shredder runs with a single rotating rotor fitted with cutting knives, a hydraulic pusher that presses the material against the rotor, and a screen beneath the rotor. The material is pressed against the rotor by the pusher, shredded by the knives, and only the pieces that can pass through the screen openings leave the machine. This way the output size can be controlled by the screen and a homogeneous result is achieved.

Advantages

  • Controlled, homogeneous output sized by the screen
  • Low speed – high torque for jam-free operation
  • Balanced, continuous feeding with the hydraulic pusher
  • Maintenance-friendly design suited to knife and screen replacement

Who chooses it?

  • Recycling plants that want homogeneous flake/particles in a single stage
  • Processors of film, sheet, profile, injection scrap and packaging
  • Production lines that need to control the output size

Frequently Asked Questions

About Single-Shaft Shredders

What is the difference between single-shaft and double-shaft shredders?
A single-shaft shredder delivers homogeneous, size-controlled output thanks to the screen and is ideal for single-stage recycling. A double-shaft shredder works without a screen and performs coarser, heavy-duty pre-shredding. The choice depends on the need.
Which model should I choose?
Hourly tonnage, material type and feeding method determine the rotor width and power. Share your requirements and let us determine the right model together.
Can I adjust the output size?
Yes. The output particle size can be controlled by changing the screen hole diameter.
